Jimmy Butler Roasts Luka Dončić with Steph Curry AI Video
The sidelined NBA star shared a humorous AI-generated clip mocking Dončić after Curry's ankle-breaking play.
Jimmy Butler, currently sidelined with a torn ACL, has found a way to entertain himself by trolling fellow NBA player Luka Dončić. Butler posted an AI-generated video on Instagram that humorously depicts Stephen Curry's recent ankle-breaking play against Dončić.
The video reimagines Curry's likeness as Bruce Leroy from the 1985 martial arts film "The Last Dragon." In the clip, an AI version of Curry is asked, "Alright Leroy, who's the one-and-only Master?" to which he replies, "I am!" Dončić's likeness appears as a bystander, reacting with "Holy s***!" as Curry's character performs a stylized martial arts move.
Butler captioned the post, "6/82. W.," referencing the Golden State Warriors' win against the Los Angeles Lakers. The post quickly gained traction, garnering over 100,000 likes and numerous reposts across social media platforms.
The original play occurred during the Warriors' 112-95 victory over the Lakers, where Curry crossed over Dončić, sending him to the floor before hitting a three-pointer. The incident has since become a subject of widespread commentary and mockery within the basketball community.
Butler, who sustained his injury in January, currently has no clear timeline for his return to play. His AI video serves as a form of entertainment during his recovery period.
