Jim Carrey Marries Longtime Girlfriend Min Ah in Private Ceremony
The actor's third marriage follows his public debut with Min Ah earlier this year.
Jim Carrey has married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, TMZ reported Wednesday.
The wedding took place seven months after Carrey, 64, and Min Ah made their public debut at the César Awards in Paris in February. At the event, the "Bruce Almighty" actor accepted an honorary award, with Min Ah sitting alongside his daughter, Jane, and grandson, Jackson.
Carrey, who shares Jane with his first wife Melissa Womer, thanked his family during his acceptance speech. "Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah," he said.
The couple has largely kept their relationship private. They were first photographed together in February 2022 after leaving a comedy show in Los Angeles, according to People.
This marriage marks Carrey's third. He was previously married to Womer from 1987 to 1995, with whom he has daughter Jane. His second marriage was to "Dumb and Dumber" co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, which ended in 1997.
Carrey also famously dated model and actress Jenny McCarthy from 2005 to 2010. More recently, he was linked to his "Kidding" co-star Ginger Gonzaga, with whom he debuted on the red carpet in January 2019 before their reported split later that year.
In February, Carrey's appearance at the César Awards sparked speculation about plastic surgery, which his representative denied, confirming that the actor himself was present at the ceremony.
