Jets Running Back Breece Hall Among Four Players Miss Practice Amid Injury Concerns

The New York Jets are contending with significant injury concerns as several key offensive players, including running back Breece Hall, missed practice on Wednesday. Head coach Aaron Glenn indicated that Hall, wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, tight end Mason Taylor, and guard Dylan Parham are all considered "week to week," making their participation in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears unlikely.

Hall sustained a quad injury, while Mitchell is dealing with a finger issue and Taylor has a thumb injury. Parham's knee injury occurred during Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions. Mitchell and Taylor had already been sidelined for the Lions game, intensifying the team's depth issues.

With Hall out, running backs Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis are expected to see increased workloads. Dylan Meredith is slated to start at guard in place of Parham. Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq will continue to be primary targets in the receiving game with Mitchell unavailable.

Despite a limited practice session due to a recent report, Glenn expressed confidence in Sadiq. On a more positive note, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who has missed the last two games with a groin injury, is expected to return after practicing in a limited capacity.

Left tackle Olu Fashanu, who allowed 2 1/2 sacks in the Lions game, received a vote of confidence from Glenn. "We have all the trust in the world in Olu," Glenn stated, referencing the work Fashanu put in during the offseason. "He knows that he has to protect better and that goes for everybody else on the offensive line."

In addition to the aforementioned players, linebacker Kiko Mauigoa also did not practice due to a quad injury. Tight end Jeremy Ruckert and running back Kene Nwangwu are both listed as limited participants with back issues.
