Jets Receiver Adonai Mitchell and Guard Dylan Parham Return to Practice

The New York Jets received positive injury updates on Wednesday as wide receiver Adonai Mitchell and offensive guard Dylan Parham returned to practice on a limited basis. Both players have been sidelined with injuries, impacting the team's offensive capabilities.

Mitchell, the team's primary deep threat, has missed the last four games after sustaining a finger injury during practice. He initially hoped to play through the injury, but it required a minor procedure. In the first two weeks of the season, Mitchell recorded nine receptions for 123 yards before his injury.

If Mitchell is cleared to play against the Dolphins, it would mark the first time this season the Jets have had their full receiving corps available. Quarterback Geno Smith highlighted Mitchell's importance, stating, "We know how important AD is to this offense. He’s a big key to our offense. With all the playmakers that we have, when you have a guy like AD out there, he can stretch the field, he can be a possession guy."

Parham has been out for the last three games due to a knee injury, with Jordan Meredith starting in his place. Defensive backs coach Aaron Glenn indicated that both Mitchell and Parham "are starting to work themselves back in."

Jets wide receiver Adonai Mitchell (15) runs a drill during practice.

In other injury news, running back Breece Hall (quadriceps) did not practice on Wednesday, though Glenn suggested he might practice later in the week. Running back and kick returner Kene Nwangwu (knee) also did not practice. Linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quadriceps) and edge rusher Joseph Ossai (ankle) are considered week-to-week. However, edge rusher Will McDonald IV (toe) and defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat (elbow) were limited participants and are expected to play on Sunday.
