JetBlue and Virgin Voyages Partner for Adults-Only Travel Experience
A new package aims to provide child-free travel from flight to cruise.
JetBlue and Virgin Voyages have launched a new partnership offering an adults-only travel package. The "Do Not Disturb" deal is designed to provide a child-free experience from air travel to a cruise.
The package includes an 18-and-older chartered JetBlue flight departing from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and arriving at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. From there, travelers will be transferred to PortMiami for priority boarding onto Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady ship. The cruise is scheduled for a four-night trip from March 4 to March 8.
"People have wanted this kind of kid-free from takeoff to sail away for a long time, and now it actually exists," said Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages. "Virgin Voyages has always been the adults-only, award-winning name at sea, and JetBlue brings that same spirit to the air. Put the two together, and this is just the start of what we can build."
The package offers several perks for adult travelers, including access to JetBlue's BlueHouse lounge at JFK, a toast onboard the flight courtesy of Virgin Voyages, and seamless private transportation between the Fort Lauderdale airport and PortMiami. Passengers will also receive priority boarding through Virgin Voyages' RockStar entrance, access to its lounge, a private onboard Welcome Party with a special cocktail, a $100 bar tab per cabin, and exclusive in-cabin surprises.
Additionally, 10 lucky travelers will receive a $50 onboard credit applicable to shore excursions, spa treatments, or other onboard purchases.
The "Do Not Disturb" package is priced at $2,750 for two people, inclusive of taxes, fees, and gratuities. Bookings are now open, but availability is limited to 60 cabins. Reservations can be made by contacting JetBlue Vacations at 1-844-528-2229.
