Jessica Simpson recently shared a series of photos on Instagram from a vacation in Turks and Caicos, including a bikini-clad selfie. The 46-year-old singer posted a black and white close-up image of herself in a polka dot bikini top, with a caption expressing a desire to return to the destination. "Take me back to Turks and Caicos," she wrote. "Thank you @lacurevillas and @pavilionluxuryvillas for an unforgettable stay. We’ll be seein’ y’all again very, very soon."
The carousel post also featured a snapshot of Simpson walking on the beach in a cover-up. She is a mother to daughters Maxwell, 14, and Birdie, seven, and son Ace, 13, with estranged husband Eric Johnson. Simpson announced her divorce from Johnson in January 2025, stating they had been living separately.
Simpson has been actively re-engaging with her music career, releasing EPs "Nashville Canyon" in March 2025 and "Nashville Canyon: Pt 2" in September. She has been performing her new material throughout the summer, with her most recent concert in June. Her next performance is scheduled for October 1 in Mexico City.
Reflecting on her return to the stage during a June concert in Pennsylvania, Simpson described the experience as empowering. "It feels good to be back on stage in my 40s. I missed all of my 30s, so this really to me, feels like I’m me again," she said. "I feel like walking on stage is almost more comfortable than my living room at home, and it’s such a beautiful feeling."
In addition to her music, Simpson has also returned to acting, appearing with Kim Kardashian in the Hulu legal drama "All's Fair," which premiered last fall. Prior to her marriage to Johnson, Simpson was married to Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2006.
