Jessica Hart Confirms Split From Fiancé James Kirkham, Considers Move Back to Australia

Australian model Jessica Hart has confirmed her split from fiancé James Kirkham, ending months of speculation surrounding their relationship. Hart, who is based in the United States, shared the news on Sunday while discussing the possibility of moving back to Australia with their two young children.

"Bringing the kids to Australia is always in the back of my mind," Hart told the Daily Telegraph. "I think eventually I'll end up back in Australia but, for the moment, the kids are in school here and, since I'm not with their father, I understand at their age taking them to Australia is a bit too far for them to maintain a relationship with him."

Hart and NASCAR driver Kirkham share two children: Baby-Rae, five, and Glorious, four.

Rumors of the couple's separation first surfaced last year, following a public argument captured in early 2025. The pair were photographed having a heated exchange inside their vehicle in the Hollywood Hills. Hart eventually pulled over, and Kirkham exited the car, after which Hart drove away with him running after the vehicle.

Shortly before this incident, Hart was observed without her engagement ring and appeared visibly upset while on a phone call. Both Hart and Kirkham have since unfollowed each other on Instagram. The last time they were seen together publicly was at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October 2024.

Hart had previously been engaged to Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos III before beginning her relationship with Kirkham in 2019. She accepted his proposal at her baby shower for their first child. Their daughter, Baby-Rae, was born shortly after, followed by their son, Glorious, in February 2022.

"The dream would be to live six months here and six months there, but current schooling systems don't allow for that," Hart added regarding her children. "I really want them to have Australian influence... Australia will always be my home."
