Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake made a notable appearance at the Academy Museum Gala on Saturday evening, presenting a united front with their distinctive fashion choices.

The couple arrived in matching all-black outfits, each featuring unique textures. Biel, 44, wore a halter-style dress adorned with feather details around the neckline, complemented by a voluminous shawl draped over her arms. The gown included a high slit and a long velvet train. She paired the ensemble with red stilettos and a slicked-back updo. Timberlake, 45, opted for a black suit and tie with a satin sheen, accessorizing with deep orange-tinted cat-eye sunglasses.

The longtime couple showed off their bold and eccentric sense of style as they arrived on the red carpet in coordinating all-black looks with different textures

Their attendance at the gala comes as it was announced Biel will star in an upcoming film about the Playboy Mansion, portraying Crystal Harris, the late founder's wife. The casting has reportedly drawn mixed reactions from former Playmates, though Biel has not publicly addressed these responses.

On the red carpet, Biel and Timberlake, 45, held hands as they posed together. Her pop star husband complemented her look in all-black, but his suit and tie featured a satin sheen and a different hue

The gala, held in Los Angeles, also featured a performance by Taylor Swift. Academy Museum president Amy Homma praised Swift as an "extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world." The event honored filmmaker Charlize Theron with the Icon Award, Colman Domingo with the Vantage Award, and director John Carpenter with the Luminary Award.

Past recipients of the Icon Award include Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep, while the Vantage Award has been presented to Michael B. Jordan and Paul Mescal. The Luminary Award has previously honored Quentin Tarantino. The gala co-chairs included Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.
