Musician Jesse Wood, an ex-partner of Fearne Cotton, has become a father for the fourth time with the birth of his son, Indigo Robin Charles Wood, with girlfriend Gemma Gregory. The baby was born on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Gemma Gregory announced the birth on Instagram on Monday, sharing a series of photos of the newborn. The date of birth coincides with the 21st birthday of Jesse Wood's daughter, Lola. "Our perfect little Indigo Robin Charles Wood was born 23/08/26 which happens to be the same August birthday as his biggest sister, Lola! Happy 21st beautiful and welcome to the ride little dude... He is heavenly. So chill and CUTE! He squeaks like a little cub and smells like meadows! He’s very lucky to have the best gang of siblings, OBSESSED mama and papa and will be surrounded by love forever and always," Gregory wrote in her post.

Wood, 49, and Gregory, 40, had announced they were expecting in April. Indigo is Gregory's first child, and Wood's fourth. Wood has two children, Rex (12) and Honey (9), with his ex-wife Fearne Cotton, and two older children, Lola and Arthur, with his first wife, Tilly Wood. Wood and Cotton were married for 10 years, divorcing in 2024, and he divorced Tilly Wood in 2011 after marrying in 2003.

Gemma's sweet snaps showed the father cosying up to their son

Jesse Wood, son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, has faced financial difficulties. His former marital home with Fearne Cotton in Richmond, south-west London, is registered solely in Cotton's name, leaving him with no legal claim to the £3.15 million property purchased in 2014. His business interests have also reportedly faltered, with his company Rekognition Sound Limited showing significant debt in its accounts. Last year, he disclosed an annual income of around £14,000 in court and received a six-month driving ban for speeding offenses.
