Jess Wright, known for her appearances on the ITV reality show 'The Only Way Is Essex,' has launched her own clothing collection in collaboration with high street fashion chain New Look. The collection, dubbed 'Payday Picks,' includes denim co-ords, handbags, and sunglasses, and is set to be unveiled.

Wright, 40, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "I’ve teamed up with @newlook to curate my very own Payday Picks, bringing together all the pieces I’m loving right now and the ones I think are worth treating yourself to when payday rolls around. From easy everyday looks to those pieces that instantly make an outfit feel a little more special, I’ve picked my favourites and I’m obsessed with this edit!"

Friends of Wright report that she is "thrilled" with the deal, which she plans to share with her 1.4 million Instagram followers. This collaboration marks the latest in a series of professional endeavors for Wright, following her appearance on ITV’s 'Cooking With the Stars' last year.

Wright has previously spoken about the influence of her family's success on her own career ambitions. She noted the drive stemming from her siblings, including DJ Mark Wright, her husband, actress Michelle Keegan, former footballer Josh Wright, and influencer Natalya Wright. She has shared that she can be hard on herself, often questioning if she is doing enough, and is motivated by her family's achievements. Wright has acknowledged the demanding nature of the entertainment industry, stating, "This industry is tough, TV is really hard to come by these days. You’ve got these new characters coming into the industry all the time. I have to remind myself that I’ve had 15 years in the public eye and I’m still working."

In March, Wright issued an apology following public criticism over comments made on her podcast, 'Wright At Home,' concerning swimwear. She, along with her mother Carol and sister Natalya, faced backlash for calling thong bikinis "unsexy." Listeners branded Wright a "hypocrite" after she claimed her husband disliked the style, a sentiment echoed by her mother regarding her husband, Mark Sr.

Wright has also shared personal health challenges, including her son Presley's diagnosis with bicuspid aortic valve, a congenital condition affecting approximately one percent of the population. She has spoken about experiencing PTSD due to her son's health issues and expressed hesitancy about having another child, despite desiring a sibling for Presley. Wright revealed on her podcast that she is "too scared" to have another baby at the moment, citing the four years it took to overcome the initial difficulties, particularly with her son's health concerns and heart condition. She recounted an emotional experience during filming for 'Cooking With the Stars' where she became overwhelmed discussing her son's health, leading to a breakdown in front of castmates.

However, in April, Wright announced that Presley was "defying all the odds" as his heart condition had shown improvement, a development following two years of medical check-ups. The star, who is mother to four-year-old Presley, will tomorrow unveil her ‘payday edit’ which includes two denim co-ords, handbags and sunglasses
