Jennifer Lopez has offered fans a peek inside her new $18 million estate in Hidden Hills, California, a property she acquired following her 2024 separation from Ben Affleck.
In a recent Instagram post, Lopez showcased various rooms of the sprawling mansion, including her lounge area with a Steinway piano and a bedroom. The decor features pale pink and beige floral arrangements, a pink sofa, and an ottoman adorned with art books. She captioned the post, 'When the mood board comes to life,' accompanied by a lion emoji, referencing a lion bookend holding vintage books in one of the photos.
After a year of renovations, Lopez moved into the home in May. A source told the Daily Mail that the singer is "thrilled" with the property, describing it as her "very own Barbie dreamhouse" that is "girly and fun with pink and white colors, very feminine and yummy." The insider added that Lopez is enjoying this "happy phase" and feels free, noting the home's resemblance to her Hamptons property where she has cherished family moments.
The Hidden Hills estate, purchased in February 2025, is an 8,600-square-foot equestrian property situated on 2.5 acres. It is fully gated and lined with mature trees for privacy. The main house includes five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, and a home theater. Additionally, there is a guest house, a pool house, a swimming pool with a hot tub, and equestrian facilities with a five-stall barn, tack room, and a riding arena.
The property was formerly owned by musician John Fogerty. Renovations began shortly after Lopez acquired the home, with sources indicating she invests significant effort to achieve her signature "JLo touch" in every residence she moves into.
Prior to this move, Lopez resided in a $60 million mansion in Bel Air for three years. She and Affleck had reportedly faced challenges selling that property, which was eventually gifted to her post-split. Lopez relisted the Bel Air home in April for $50 million. The listing highlighted the property as "the ultimate celebrity compound" with sweeping mountain views and seclusion.
Lopez is reportedly balancing a demanding schedule, including an international tour planned for next year, promoting two upcoming films, and shooting a new Dolce & Gabbana campaign in Italy. A source close to the singer noted that she is working extensively to stay busy, which helps her cope during this "weird time" marked by her divorce and her twins preparing for college.
