Jennifer Lopez's first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, has shared accounts of confrontations with Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging that Combs was involved with Lopez during their marriage. Noa, who was married to Lopez from 1997 to 1998, claimed that Lopez and Combs knew each other before their alleged affair became public.

Noa told The US Sun that while he was managing the launch of a Los Angeles nightclub partly owned by Lopez, she was in New York and Miami recording her debut album, "On The 6." He stated that Combs was brought in to produce several tracks during this period.

"She started hanging out with Diddy more and more, and I started seeing her less and less," Noa alleged. He claimed that rumors of an affair surfaced, with friends in Miami hotels reportedly seeing Lopez and Combs together. Noa stated that Lopez would dismiss his concerns, attributing her time with Combs to "just work" until a photograph emerged of her on his lap at a Miami hotel. "We started to fight really badly as I knew she was cheating on me," he said.

Noa recounted an instance where he flew to Miami unannounced to confront Lopez at her hotel, leading to a "massive fight" and her telling him he could not visit her randomly. He also detailed a separate incident where he confronted Combs at a birthday party thrown by Lopez for her assistant.

"It was the year she dumped him. We were still friends and we had decided to start over again," Noa recalled, adding that he believed Lopez deserved to be "forgiven once" for past "mistakes." He further alleged that Lopez had previously attempted to end her relationship with Combs, and he had "threatened her and her family."

According to Noa, Combs unexpectedly appeared at the party in Los Angeles. "I went over to him and told him to leave and he told me to back off. He asked me who I was, to which I replied, ‘F–k you’. I told him he had slept with my wife," Noa stated. He added that Lopez intervened and told Noa that Combs would leave, but he remained. Noa said Lopez eventually left the party with Combs.

A few days later, Noa claimed Lopez called him, sounding "terrified," reporting that Combs had shown up at her Los Angeles residence and was shouting her name. Noa stated he went to Lopez's home and confronted Combs, who he believed was hiding. Noa alleged that Combs threatened him, saying he knew Noa was inside. "Jennifer was on the balcony and told me not to, as she was worried. She told me he had guns but I told him that I would f–k him up," Noa recounted.

Noa said police arrived, and a neighbor may have called them. He claimed Lopez suggested she would call the police, but Combs fled before they arrived. Noa described Lopez as telling him that Combs "could do bad things," and stated he called the rapper a "coward" to his face.

Noa and Lopez were married for just over a year. He has previously blamed Combs for their divorce. Lopez and Combs made their public relationship debut in September 1999. Later that year, Lopez was arrested in connection with a New York nightclub shooting incident involving Combs, though she was not charged. Combs and Lopez reportedly split in 2001. Combs is currently serving a prison sentence following a conviction related to prostitution charges. Lopez has been married three other times since her marriage to Noa.
