Jennifer Lopez's first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, has alleged that he confronted Sean "Diddy" Combs and engaged in a heated argument after discovering an alleged affair between Lopez and the rapper. Noa, who was married to Lopez from 1997 to 1998, described the incident as an "explosive Hollywood bust-up" at a Los Angeles party.

According to Noa's account, he approached Combs at the party and accused him of sleeping with his wife. He stated that Lopez intervened, and although she said Combs would leave, he did not. Noa recounted that Lopez left the party with Combs that night.

Noa also claims that Lopez told him she was "in fear of her life and scared" of Combs. He alleges that Combs verbally abused Lopez at her home and threatened her family. Noa stated that Lopez called him after Combs appeared at her home and began screaming her name, prompting Noa to leave work and go to her house. Upon arriving, he said Lopez was worried because Combs "had guns."

In a previous interview in 2022, Noa discussed how Lopez's rising fame impacted their marriage. He described feeling like "Mr Cinderella" as Lopez became a "megastar" during their relationship. He also recounted conversations where Lopez explained her outings with Combs, who was producing her album, as "just business" and that she was told she "had to do" them. Noa expressed jealousy and frustration, questioning her actions while they were married.

Noa also mentioned that Lopez had indicated she couldn't have children during that period, as it would interfere with her career, despite their discussions about starting a family. Following their divorce, Lopez publicly dated Combs. Noa stated that Lopez sometimes expressed a desire to reconcile and told him she didn't want to lose him.

Lopez has been married several times since her marriage to Noa, including to Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, and Ben Affleck. The Daily Mail has sought comment from representatives for Lopez and Combs regarding these claims.

Combs has previously faced legal issues, including a conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution under the federal Mann Act. In October 2025, he was sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison, along with supervised release and a fine.
