Jennifer Lopez is pushing back against concerns from friends who fear she is heading toward burnout due to her demanding work schedule. In a recent Instagram Story, Lopez shared an inspirational and expletive-laden message about perseverance, appearing resolute as she continues to juggle multiple high-profile projects.

Lopez, 57, was seen in a chauffeured car as the message played: "Be the person people look at and say, 'How the f** is this mother-f***er still going?' That's all you need to know if you do that for life." The accompanying reel showed her transitioning from a contemplative mood to a smile, dressed professionally.

The singer's latest social media post follows reports from sources close to her who are concerned about her relentless pace. Her career is currently in high gear with a new $20 million deal with Dolce & Gabbana, a planned international tour for the upcoming year, and ongoing acting projects. She is facing a packed promotional schedule for her films "The Last Mrs Parrish" and "Ice Age: Boiling Point" through late 2026 and early 2027. Additionally, a filmed version of her Las Vegas residency, "The JLo Show," is set to stream on Paramount+.

An insider told the Daily Mail that while Lopez "is working her tail off because she wants to stay busy," there is worry she might "burn out." However, the source added, "this is how she stays sane during this weird time in her life."

Lopez has been reconfiguring her life following her divorce from Ben Affleck, finalized in January 2025. She is also anticipating her 18-year-old twins, Max and Oskar, heading to college, a prospect that contributes to the emotional changes she is navigating. "It's not an easy time for Jennifer, there are a lot of changes, it's very emotional, but she finds comfort in working nonstop, which is great because her career is still doing very well," the insider stated. The source characterized Lopez as a "workaholic" and a "typical Type-A Leo who wants to never be out of the spotlight," preferring intense workdays over being alone at home.

This intense drive is not new for Lopez. She recalled an instance early in her career where she worked 98 consecutive days without a break, filming multiple movies and recording her second album, "J-Lo," while also managing promotional events and music video shoots. The breaking point came during the filming of the 2002 action-thriller "Enough."

She described experiencing a racing heart and growing nervousness on set before ultimately "shutting down." Lopez recounted how she could not see clearly and felt unable to move, leading to her security guard taking her to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed her with exhaustion, informing her that she had "shut down."
