Jennifer Lopez Asks Paparazzi to "Relax" During Paris Fashion Week

Jennifer Lopez implored a group of persistent paparazzi to "relax" and "stop acting crazy" as they aggressively pursued her for photographs in Paris.

The 57-year-old entertainer was in the French capital to attend Paris Fashion Week, where she had been seen at shows for brands such as Stella McCartney. As she moved around the city, Lopez found herself trailed by photographers, whose intensity she evidently found overwhelming.

In footage captured by the Daily Mail, Lopez turned to the photographers and stated, "Guys, can you stop acting crazy? Relax. Nobody's running anywhere. We're not doing anything." When one photographer suggested their behavior was due to "the heat," Lopez assured them they could "take your picture" but reiterated her request for them to "relax."

Lopez was photographed in a full-length off-white lace dress, complemented by a black leather Lady Dior bag. She accessorized with large black-rimmed orange sunglasses and a subtle necklace. Her outfit was completed with white socks and black loafers.

Earlier in her Fashion Week schedule, Lopez wore a fur coat while attending the Stella McCartney show. Prior to her Paris appearances, she was in Milan for a Vogue World and Dolce & Gabbana afterparty. Lopez, a longtime friend of the fashion house, recently signed a reported $20 million deal to become the face of Dolce & Gabbana.

This period of extensive travel and professional activity follows a report indicating that loved ones are concerned Lopez may be heading towards burnout, nearly twenty-five years after a documented nervous breakdown in 2002. The singer is reportedly planning an upcoming tour and is involved in promotions for two films: a crime thriller directed by Robert Zemeckis and a concert film of her Las Vegas residency.

Lopez's previously announced "This Is Me… Live" tour was canceled in the summer of 2024. That same August, she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, her fourth husband. The canceled tour was intended to support her album "This Is Me... Now," which chronicled her renewed romance with Affleck, a sequel to her 2002 album "This Is Me... Then," released during their initial relationship.

Lopez's recent professional engagements also coincide with becoming an empty nester. Her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, graduated high school and have begun college this summer. Emme's transition to identifying as non-binary and using they/them pronouns was also publicly revealed around the time of their high school graduation.
