Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein Reportedly Dating Casually
The 'Office Romance' co-stars are said to be enjoying a low-key relationship following public appearances and on-screen chemistry.
Jennifer Lopez, 57, and her "Office Romance" co-star Brett Goldstein, 46, are reportedly engaged in a casual romantic relationship, according to Page Six. The news follows a series of public appearances by the pair and reports of significant chemistry between them.
A source told the publication that both Lopez and Goldstein enjoy social outings. This observation was contrasted with Lopez's ex-husband Ben Affleck, 54, whose public demeanor during outings with her was described as having a "scowl on his face."
The duo was recently observed arriving separately and later leaving a talent manager's party in Los Angeles on October 16, reportedly traveling in the same vehicle.
Lopez and Goldstein have previously sparked dating rumors, which they have denied. In May, Lopez praised Goldstein's kissing skills, rating him "12 out of 10" at the Los Angeles premiere of their Netflix film "Office Romance." Goldstein reciprocated the sentiment, telling ET that Lopez's kiss was "the best."
Fans have noted the pair's apparent chemistry, with some speculating about a relationship after Lopez shared a reel from the event on her Instagram.
Speculation about their off-screen connection intensified during the filming of "Office Romance." A source told The Sun that their chemistry was "electric" and that they were "very touchy, feely, and always laughing." Another insider suggested they were "all over each other" during the wrap party.
Lopez, who has been married four times, officially ended her marriage to Ben Affleck in 2024 after two years. Their union included a Las Vegas wedding in July 2022, followed by a larger ceremony in Georgia the subsequent month. Her previous marriages were to Ojani Noa (1997-1998), Cris Judd (2001-2003), and Marc Anthony (2004-2014). She shares 18-year-old twins Max and Oskar with Anthony.
Goldstein is reported to have been single since splitting from girlfriend Beth Rylance in 2022 after a year together.
Despite the persistent rumors, Lopez and Goldstein explicitly denied they were dating in a joint interview on "Today" while promoting their film. "There’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person," Lopez stated. Goldstein added, "I think if you stand near her, that’s what happens." When asked directly if they were dating, Lopez replied, "Not dating," with Goldstein confirming, "Correct."
Goldstein did acknowledge a strong initial connection with Lopez, stating, "When we first met on the Zoom it was instant."
In "Office Romance," Lopez and Goldstein play workaholics who develop a secret office romance that poses a threat to their professional and personal lives.
