Jennifer Garner, 54, recently shared her thoughts on co-parenting with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, describing him as an "incredible co-parent." Garner, known for her roles in "13 Going on 30" and "Alias," made the remarks in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, discussing the balance between her Hollywood career and raising their three children: Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14.

Garner explained that as her children have gotten older and are now in high school, they are able to spend extended periods with their father. "When (my kids) were younger, I wouldn't have done a couple of weeks away without taking them with me," she told the outlet. "Now they're in high school. You can't really do that anymore. But they can stay with their dad. He's wonderful. He takes care of them. He's a great partner in that way. And that's very freeing."

The actress noted that motherhood was her primary focus when her children were younger, and she "absolutely" became absorbed in raising them. However, their increasing independence has shifted how she approaches her work commitments. This allows her more flexibility to take on projects, such as her new Peacock series "The Five-Star Weekend," which co-stars Chloe Sevigny and reunites her with Timothy Olyphant.

Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 to 2015, with their divorce finalized in 2018. Despite their separation, the former couple have maintained a public presence together, frequently attending family occasions and spending time with their children during holidays and milestones. Garner has often acknowledged Affleck's role in their children's lives, including a Father's Day tribute where she shared photos of Affleck with their children and expressed her happiness for them to have a great dad.

Affleck has also been in the public eye, navigating his career and personal life, including his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, which concluded in 2024. Both actors have generally spoken positively about their co-parenting relationship and blended family dynamics.

In addition to promoting her new series, Garner maintains a dedicated fitness routine, recently seen leaving a gym in Los Angeles. Her routine reportedly includes dance cardio, plyometrics, boxing, and Peloton cycling, helping her maintain strength and agility amidst her busy professional schedule.
