Jennifer Garner and her 20-year-old daughter, Violet Affleck, were photographed enjoying a casual lunch together on Friday, presenting a notable resemblance.
Affleck, a student at Yale University, wore a flowing floral sundress paired with sneakers. Garner, 54, opted for a red floral top, a denim miniskirt, and sandals. Violet carried a bright blue handbag, while Garner was seen with a shopping bag and her cell phone. They were also pictured holding beverages during their outing.
Garner, known for her roles in "Alias" and "13 Going on 30," also has two other children with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck: Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13. Garner and Affleck divorced in 2018 after separating in 2015.
In May, Garner and Affleck were observed accompanying Violet to an urgent care visit. Violet, who was later seen on crutches, appeared to lean on both parents for support as she entered the facility.
Garner recently shared her thoughts on parenting in an interview with InStyle, emphasizing that perfection is not the goal. "You have to raise yourself at the same time," she stated, advising kindness towards oneself regarding the inherent imperfections of raising children. She also noted the absence of true balance in parenting and the importance of maintaining one's own sense of well-being to support a child.
Despite their past relationship, Garner has spoken positively about her co-parenting dynamic with Ben Affleck. She told Entertainment Weekly that Affleck has become an "incredible co-parent" and that "He takes care of them. He's a great partner in that way. And so that's very freeing."
