Jennifer Aniston has transformed her Montecito mansion into a finished home after more than a year of renovations. The palatial Tuscan-style farmhouse, previously owned by Oprah Winfrey, now features chic outdoor furniture and a filled swimming pool, replacing construction equipment and empty spaces. The landscaping has also been completed, with lush foliage surrounding the property's staircases and backyard areas.
Aniston purchased the property from Winfrey in a reported off-market deal in 2022 for $14.8 million. Winfrey had acquired the estate in 2021 and subsequently divided and sold portions of it a year later. Aniston's new residence, built in 1998, offers ocean and mountain views, multiple terraces, landscaped gardens, and ample parking on a private, wooded lot.
The completion of the renovations comes after Aniston experienced a security scare at her former Bel Air home, where a stalker rammed the gates. This incident reportedly left her shaken, prompting her to emphasize the necessity of security details outside her home in a previous interview.
Aniston had planned to make the Montecito house her primary summer residence, seeking a more tranquil, country-like setting away from the bustle of Los Angeles. "Jen is happy to have a safe place to run to where she can let her hair down," a source told the Daily Mail.
Outside of her professional life, Aniston has been dating hypnotherapist Jim Curtis since early 2025. They became Instagram official in November 2025 and made their first public appearance shortly after. Curtis has shared that they were introduced by mutual friends and developed their relationship over time.
