Former television actress Jenilee Harrison, known for her roles in the '80s sitcom 'Three's Company' and the primetime soap opera 'Dallas,' was recently spotted in Los Angeles during a rare public outing.
Harrison, 68, was photographed on Sunday with her white Chihuahua, Andy, who was carried in a chest-worn carrier. The actress was seen attending to errands around the city, dressed in a red graphic sweatshirt, purple sweatpants, and black sneakers. She wore a cream-colored fedora to shield herself from the sun.
Harrison is widely recognized for her role as Cindy Snow on 'Three's Company.' She joined the show in its fifth season in 1980, stepping in as a cousin to Suzanne Somers's character, Chrissy Snow, after Somers's departure. Harrison's character moved out of the iconic apartment at the beginning of the sixth season, and she later appeared on a recurring basis before leaving the series. Priscilla Barnes took over the role of a different character who occupied the apartment.
Following her stint on 'Three's Company,' Harrison appeared in guest roles on various television shows, including 'The Love Boat' and 'Fantasy Island.' She then joined the cast of 'Dallas' in 1984, portraying Jamie Ewing. During her time on 'Dallas,' Harrison's character was notably killed off twice, first by a bomb in season nine, which was later revealed to be part of a dream sequence, and then permanently in season ten after dying off-screen while rock climbing.
In 1987, Harrison posed for Playboy. She famously stipulated in her contract that she would remain clothed for the photoshoot. She recounted to Fox News Digital that this decision caused confusion for the photographer, who was reportedly unaware of the condition, leading to a delay as wardrobe arrangements were made. Harrison stated she had to fight to uphold this requirement.
In the later 1980s, Harrison continued as a guest star on shows such as 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Simon & Simon.' Her television appearances became less frequent in the 1990s. After appearing in the 2002 TV movie 'The Power,' Harrison retired from acting.
Harrison was married to Bruce Oppenheim, ex-husband of Cybill Shepherd, from 1993 to 2022. She now operates a rescue ranch in the Agoura Hills area of Los Angeles.
