Jen Shah, a former cast member of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," has completed her federal prison sentence. Shah, 52, announced that her sentence, related to her involvement in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme, officially concluded on Friday. She had pleaded guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison.

Her sentence saw multiple reductions, leading to her release on December 10, 2025, after serving the remainder of her time under home confinement in Utah. In a statement, Shah expressed gratitude and excitement for the future, stating that the experience "changed my life and my family forever."

Shah acknowledged the serious consequences of her past actions and her responsibility for the choices she made. "I can see those things today in a way I couldn’t then, and I take responsibility for the decisions that were mine," she said.

She was incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, a facility that has also housed notable figures like Ghislaine Maxwell and Elizabeth Holmes. Shah remains married to her husband of over 30 years, Sharrieff Shah.

Looking ahead, Shah teased that she has "projects ahead that I’m incredibly excited about" and looks forward to having her voice back after a period where her story was largely told by others. She emphasized that she carries the awareness of the harm caused to victims but is focused on moving forward.

"I carry that awareness with me, and I always will. But I’ve also learned that acknowledging your past doesn’t mean you have to live in it," Shah stated. "I can’t change the chapters I’ve already lived, but I can decide what I do with what they taught me."

Shah's arrest in March 2021 was documented during season two of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." However, Bravo host Andy Cohen has indicated that Shah will not be returning to the show. In addition to her prison sentence, Shah was ordered to pay more than $6.5 million in restitution.
