MS NOW’s Jen Psaki recently drew a stark contrast between the crowd size at a Barack Obama campaign appearance and a rally held by former President Donald Trump. Psaki noted that Trump's event in Chillicothe, Ohio, took place in a college gym, a venue she described as "notably smaller than the kind of major arenas that Trump used to be able to fill."
"Look at the empty benches there, everyone. It is a very far cry from the arenas that Trump famously used to brag about," Psaki stated on air. She further commented on the sparseness of the crowd, suggesting it was indicative of broader challenges in drawing large, enthusiastic gatherings.
Psaki also highlighted footage from a campaign event for Mike Collins, the Republican opponent of Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.), describing the attendance as sparse. She likened the scene to a "mandatory driver training DMV class" or a gathering during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic when social distancing was prevalent.
