An arrest order has been issued for Jen Belichick, the daughter-in-law of North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick. The warrant stems from a missed court appearance related to a speeding citation issued in May.
Jen Belichick, wife of UNC defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, was scheduled to appear in Brunswick County court on July 10. The citation was issued on May 21 by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol for allegedly driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Leland. Due to the speed, a court appearance was mandated.
According to court records, Belichick did not appear for her scheduled date, resulting in the arrest order being issued on Monday. No attorney was listed for her in the court records, and she did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Jen Belichick previously made headlines last football season following an altercation with Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, after a game. Reports at the time claimed Jen Belichick confronted Hudson, with Jen allegedly calling Hudson 'bats*** crazy' and accusing her of manipulating the 73-year-old coach. She also reportedly criticized Hudson's fashion choices and body.
Jen and Steve Belichick have been married for nearly a decade and have several children together.
