Jen Belichick, daughter-in-law of former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, has seemingly responded to a recent order for her arrest by posting on social media.
A Brunswick County judge issued the arrest warrant on Monday after Jen Belichick failed to appear in court on July 10 to address a traffic violation. According to court records, she faces a misdemeanor speeding charge for allegedly driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in a Jeep on May 21.
Hours after The California Post reported on the warrant, Jen Belichick shared an image on her Instagram Stories that displayed a New York Post article about the situation. She captioned the image, "I hired an attorney!!!!!" and added the song "Bad Boy for Life" by P. Diddy, Black Rob, and Mark Curry to the post.
A court official informed The Post that the issue could be resolved by filing a motion to recall the order, surrendering to authorities, or retaining legal counsel. Jen Belichick's Instagram post suggests she has chosen to hire an attorney.
Jen Belichick is married to Steve Belichick, son of Bill Belichick and a defensive coordinator for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team. The couple has been married for approximately a decade and has several children.
