Jemima Goldsmith Weds Financier Cameron O'Reilly
The film producer shared photos from her second marriage, to multi-millionaire Cameron O'Reilly, with her sons walking her down the aisle.
Jemima Goldsmith has shared the first photographs from her wedding to financier Cameron O’Reilly, marking her second marriage. Goldsmith, 62, tied the knot with O’Reilly, also 62, and expressed gratitude to her guests for making the day "so special and happy."
Her sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, from her previous marriage to Pakistani politician Imran Khan, walked her down the aisle. Goldsmith wore an Oscar de la Renta wedding dress.
O'Reilly is the son of the late Irish-Australian media magnate and rugby star Sir Anthony O’Reilly. He is described as a smart meter and software investor. The couple became engaged after a year-long romance, according to reports in May.
Goldsmith's brother, Ben Goldsmith, confirmed the marriage. His wife, Jemima Jones, shared her happiness online, stating, "What a happy day!"
The newlyweds reportedly met while O'Reilly was working as an executive producer on several documentaries and films. He has four children, and Goldsmith has two sons with Imran Khan. She and her sons have been campaigning for Khan's release from prison in Pakistan, where he is serving a sentence for corruption charges that he denies.
Imran Khan, former captain of the Pakistan cricket team and Prime Minister, was jailed in 2023. His health has reportedly deteriorated in prison, leading to his transfer to a private hospital. Lawyers for Khan have accused the British government of insufficient support.
Cameron O’Reilly previously spent a decade in his father's media empire before launching his private equity fund Bayard Capital in 2003. He was involved in the acquisition of Swiss metering company Landis+Gyr, which he later sold to Toshiba for $2.3 billion in 2011.
The wedding follows the death of Goldsmith's mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith, last year. Her father, Sir James Goldsmith, died in 1997.
