Jemima Goldsmith, 52, has married multi-millionaire financier Cameron O'Reilly, 62, in a second marriage. Goldsmith's first husband, the former Pakistan Prime Minister and cricket legend Imran Khan, is currently serving time in a Pakistani prison and is reported to be seriously ill.
The wedding took place over the weekend, and was confirmed by Jemima's brother, Ben Goldsmith. His wife, Jemima Jones, shared the news online, writing, "What a happy day!"
Goldsmith and O'Reilly, the son of the late Irish-Australian media magnate Sir Anthony O'Reilly, became engaged after a year-long romance, as previously reported in May. The couple reportedly met while O'Reilly was working as an executive producer on several documentaries and films.
O'Reilly, an Oxford graduate, has a background in media and finance. He spent a decade working within his father's media empire before launching his private equity fund, Bayard Capital, in 2003. He was instrumental in the acquisition of the Swiss metering company Landis+Gyr, which was later sold to Toshiba for $2.3 billion in 2011. He has four children from previous relationships.
Goldsmith, an award-winning film producer and a close friend of the late Princess Diana, has two sons, Kasim and Sulamain, with Imran Khan. She and her sons have been campaigning for Khan's release from prison. Khan has been incarcerated since 2023 on corruption charges, which he denies.
Following her nine-year marriage to Khan, which ended in 2004, Goldsmith had public relationships with actor Hugh Grant, comedian Russell Brand, and screenwriter Peter Morgan. A friend of the couple described O'Reilly as a private person whom Goldsmith is determined to protect. It is understood that many of Goldsmith's family members have met O'Reilly and have a good relationship with him.
The wedding follows the death of Goldsmith's mother, Lady Annabel Goldsmith, in the previous year. Her father, Sir James Goldsmith, died in 1997.
