Jelly Roll is taking an indefinite hiatus from touring, announcing the break during his final concert with Post Malone on July 28 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. The 41-year-old artist told the crowd that he would be stepping away from the road for "a year or two" to "heal."

His final scheduled solo performance took place on July 30 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. According to Jelly Roll's official website, he has no upcoming concert dates listed.

The hiatus follows the finalization of his divorce from Bunnie Xo. The couple, who first met in 2015 and eloped a year later, finalized their divorce in early July after nearly 10 years of marriage. Jelly Roll, whose real name is James DeBoard, cited "irreconcilable differences" in his May 18 filing, listing May 9 as the date of separation.

Terms of their settlement remain confidential, but reports indicated that assets, including homes, cars, an aircraft, and intellectual property, would be divided. Jelly Roll reportedly agreed to a one-time, confidential lump sum payment to Bunnie Xo, with no future alimony claims.

Both Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have denied speculation that infidelity played a role in their separation. Bunnie Xo stated on her podcast that "nobody cheated" and that Jelly Roll "gets it" in reference to her public interactions following their split.

Despite their divorce, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have indicated they plan to co-parent a child conceived via surrogate. Jelly Roll has referred to Bunnie Xo as his "best friend."
