Jeff Bezos and his partner Lauren Sanchez visited Sydney, Australia, over the weekend, dining at upscale restaurants and participating in a climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The couple arrived in Sydney on Friday afternoon via a Gulfstream G700 private jet, following a three-day stay in Fiji.

On Saturday, Bezos and Sanchez were seen having lunch at the iconic Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in Bondi Beach. They were joined by Hollywood producer Brian Grazer and his wife Veronica Smiley Grazer, as well as Carl Kawaja, a Portfolio Manager for Capital Group. Sanchez wore a plunging black tank top with a pale blue shirt, jeans, and a Celine leather belt, while Bezos opted for a casual white t-shirt, a beige windbreaker, and jeans.

Later that day, Bezos was observed in a conversation with Grazer as they departed the restaurant, while their wives chatted. An unidentified blonde woman also joined the group for lunch.

The following day, Sunday, the couple, along with the Grazers, participated in a BridgeClimb Sydney expedition, ascending the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Private climb sessions for the landmark range from $3,900, while standard climbs start at $248 per person.

Bezos, the founder of Amazon, stepped down as CEO in mid-2021 and currently serves as its executive chairman. His primary focus in recent years has been his aerospace company, Blue Origin. Amazon's Web Services division operates 13 data centers in Australia, predominantly in Sydney. Blue Origin secured a contract last year with NBN Co to supply internet to rural and regional Australia, replacing the network's existing satellites.

Flight tracking data indicated that a private jet associated with Bezos departed Sydney on Sunday evening, heading east across the Pacific Ocean. Bezos' last reported visit to Sydney was in 2016.
