Jeff Bezos and his partner, Lauren Sanchez, recently concluded a whirlwind visit to Sydney, Australia, engaging in a variety of tourist activities including a climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The couple returned to their accommodation at the Park Hyatt Sydney on a Saturday following a day of sightseeing. Sanchez, a former journalist, was observed wearing a $7,000 Yves Saint Laurent jacket paired with navy cargo pants and white sneakers. Bezos, the founder of Amazon, opted for a more casual ensemble with a baseball cap, dark hooded jacket, jeans, and white sneakers.

During their Australian stay, Bezos and Sanchez visited several notable Sydney attractions. On Saturday, they were seen having lunch at the Icebergs Dining Room and Bar on Bondi Beach with producer Brian Grazer and his wife, Veronica Smiley Grazer, and Portfolio Manager Carl Kawaja. Sanchez wore a plunging black tank top under a pale blue shirt with denim jeans and a Celine belt, while Bezos wore a white T-shirt, a beige zip-up windbreaker, and jeans.

The following day, Sunday, the couple participated in a group climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. They were equipped with safety suits and harnesses for the activity, which costs from $248 per person for standard climbs and significantly more for private sessions.

Flight tracking data indicated that Bezos and Sanchez arrived in Sydney on a Gulfstream G700 private jet on Friday afternoon. The aircraft, described as the most luxurious Gulfstream model, has the capacity for up to 19 passengers and a range of 14,353 km. Prior to their arrival in Sydney, the pair had spent three days in Fiji. Upon landing in Sydney, they dined at an upscale restaurant in Coogee, Mimi's, reportedly accompanied by bodyguards.

Bezos stepped down as CEO of Amazon in mid-2021 and currently serves as executive chairman. His ventures outside of Amazon include his aerospace company, Blue Origin, which is a competitor to Elon Musk's SpaceX. Blue Origin's satellite division secured a contract last year to provide internet to rural and regional Australia, replacing existing satellite services.

Bezos' last known visit to Sydney was in 2016 to tour Amazon sites. Records suggest that a private jet associated with Bezos departed Sydney on Sunday evening, heading across the Pacific Ocean after flying over Far North Queensland. This indicates their trip was brief.
