Jed York, a co-owner of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, Scottish football club Rangers, and English club Leeds United, has pleaded no contest to two charges in Ohio following an arrest for soliciting prostitution. The NFL confirmed it is aware of the situation and will review it under the league's personal conduct policy.

York, who serves as chief executive and principal owner of 49ers Enterprises, became a co-owner of Rangers in May 2025 when a U.S. consortium led by Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises acquired a controlling 51% stake in the Scottish Premiership club. 49ers Enterprises had previously invested in Leeds United in 2018, steadily increasing its stake before assuming full control in 2023.

While York is involved with the ownership of Rangers and Leeds through 49ers Enterprises, he is not involved in the day-to-day operations of either club. Rangers and Leeds have declined to comment on the matter, and the 49ers have also been approached for comment.

The NFL's personal conduct policy outlines standards of behavior for owners, players, and personnel, and violations can result in disciplinary action.
