Jean Smart Officiates 'Hacks' Co-Star Mark Indelicato's Wedding
The "Hacks" cast reunited to celebrate the marriage of Mark Indelicato and David Watson, with Jean Smart presiding over the ceremony.
Jean Smart officiated the wedding of her "Hacks" co-star Mark Indelicato to David Watson on Saturday. The ceremony saw cast members of the HBO Max series, which concluded its five-season run in 2026, come together to celebrate the couple.
Videos shared online by fellow cast members Johnny Sibilly and Hannah Einbinder captured Smart, 75, presiding over the vows. In one clip, Smart, who portrayed comedian Deborah Vance on the show, asked Indelicato, 32, "Do you, Mark Anthony Indelicato, take David Joel Watson to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, in sickness, in health, for richer, for poorer, as long as you both shall live?"
Following Indelicato's affirmative response, Smart pronounced them "husband and husband" by the authority vested in her by American Marriage Ministers. The grooms, both dressed in black suits and white shirts, shared a kiss after exchanging their vows. They later danced to Paul McCrane's "Is It Okay If I Call You Mine?"
Other "Hacks" stars in attendance included Meg Stalter and Poppy Liu. The show's co-creators Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky were also present. Downs, who played agent Jimmy LuSaque Jr., shared a group photo of the cast on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Congratulations @markindelicato & David. Hacks fam 4eva."
The series "Hacks" followed the professional and personal relationship between Deborah Vance, a veteran Las Vegas comedian with a dwindling residency, and Ava Daniels, a young writer. Smart's performance as Vance earned her five Primetime Emmy Awards, making her the first actress to win for every season of a multi-season show.
