JD Vance Predicts Bengals 'Run' After Victory
The Vice President expressed optimism for his favorite NFL team following a strong second-half performance.
Vice President JD Vance celebrated the Cincinnati Bengals' recent victory over the Baltimore Ravens, predicting the team is poised to "make a run" this season. The Bengals secured the win with a dominant 35-point second half, largely propelled by four touchdown passes from quarterback Joe Burrow.
Vance, a self-proclaimed fan of the Bengals, shared his enthusiasm on social media, stating, "It's early, but I think the Bengals are going to make a run. Who Dey!" The team has won two consecutive games, a streak Vance hopes will continue.
During a recent visit to the Bengals' training facility, Vance interacted with players and coaches. Notably, wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase reportedly made a positive impression on Vance's young son by acknowledging his Bengals football gloves. Vance shared this moment, calling Chase an "amazing talent."
Despite some reports suggesting a less than enthusiastic reception for Vance at the facility, the Vice President engaged in conversations with coach Zac Taylor and other team personnel. Vance's assessment of the Bengals' potential run is bolstered by their upcoming schedule, which includes several opponents with losing records. However, a game against division co-leader Pittsburgh will serve as a significant test for their playoff aspirations.
