During a campaign rally in Cincinnati on Wednesday, Sen. JD Vance was interrupted by a man wearing a MAGA hat who stood behind him and shouted. Security removed the man from the venue after he twice appeared to yell "you suck."

Following the disruption, Vance addressed the crowd, suggesting the heckler was not a genuine supporter. "He was trying to pretend to be MAGA," Vance said. "Do you notice how he took off his Make America Great Again hat and threw it down? ... It was very obvious that he has not washed his hair in about three months. And we all know that the people who haven’t washed their hair in three months, they vote for Democrats, not for Republicans."

This was the second such incident in three days for Vance. On Monday, during an event in Hendersonville, North Carolina, a man shouted, "Release the Epstein files." After that heckler was removed, Vance joked about immigration, stating, "I said that we have had zero illegal border crossings in the United States of America. But one isn’t bad, right?"

Hecklers have also targeted former President Donald Trump during his campaign rallies. Earlier on Wednesday, Trump appeared to take pleasure in a protester being seemingly attacked at his South Carolina rally.
