The New York Yankees are preparing to assess their second base position during the upcoming offseason, a move that signals the likely end of Jazz Chisholm's time with the team. Chisholm is eligible for free agency, and this evaluation comes as Anthony Volpe is being considered for a potential starting role at the position.
The Yankees' consideration of their options at second base indicates a significant potential shift in their infield alignment for the next season. The team's decision-making process will likely determine the future composition of their roster, particularly at this key position.
