Comedian Jay Mohr has launched a new streaming channel dedicated to his podcast, "Mohr Stories," on LG Channels, the free streaming service offered by LG. The channel debuts with a substantial back catalog of over 100 hours of content.

"Mohr Stories" initially launched in 2012 and incorporated video about a year and a half ago. Mohr noted that the transition to video required an adjustment period, stating, "I was suddenly aware of the cameras… It really was something I had to learn to do." He described the challenge of balancing engaging with guests and being mindful of content suitable for clips.

Since adding video to Spotify, "Mohr Stories" has experienced significant growth, with a 50% month-over-month increase in consumption hours, reflecting the growing trend of video podcasts becoming a prominent format, often likened to a new form of talk show.

Upcoming guests scheduled to appear on the show include Will Forte, H.R. of Bad Brains, "SNL" cast member James Austin Johnson, comedians Adam Ferrara and Sarah Tiana, and Stephen Pearcy, founder of the band Ratt. The podcast has previously featured notable guests such as Jay Leno, Joe Mantegna, Patton Oswalt, and George Wallace. Mohr's wife, LA Lakers governor Jeanie Buss, and Lakers legend Byron Scott have also been featured guests.
