Prime Video has revealed new cast members joining the upcoming fifth season of its action series "Reacher." The additions include Jay Baruchel, Ciara Bravo, Amanda Ip, and Kevin Durand, who will join star Alan Ritchson.
Baruchel is set to portray Chief Buck Bauer, the police chief of the small town of Mother’s Rest. Bravo will play Eunice, Ip will take on the role of Michelle Chang, and Durand will play Nokes. Baruchel was previously slated for a role in Season 4 but was recast.
Season 5 of "Reacher" will adapt Lee Child's 20th book in the series, titled "Make Me." The novel follows Reacher as his train stops in Mother’s Rest, where he collaborates with a private investigator to find a missing person and becomes entangled in a dangerous criminal conspiracy.
The series, based on Child's best-selling book series, features a new book adaptation each season. Season 4 of "Reacher" is scheduled to premiere on August 12, 2026, and will follow the plot of "Gone Tomorrow," the thirteenth book in the series. In that installment, Jack Reacher witnesses a woman's suicide on a subway, leading him into a government conspiracy.
Additionally, a spinoff series centered on the character Neagley is set to premiere on September 16, 2026. All eight episodes of the Neagley series will be released on the same day as the "Reacher" Season 4 finale.
"Reacher" is available on Prime Video. New subscribers can access a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, which includes Prime Video and other benefits. After the trial period, Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Discounted memberships are available for young adults.
