Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart connected with running back Devin Singletary for a touchdown during New York Giants training camp on Wednesday. The play occurred during 7-on-7 drills, where Singletary, running a wheel route, outmaneuvered linebacker Arvell Reese on his way to the end zone.

In another notable play, Dart threw a touchdown pass to Malachi Fields. However, the score likely would have been nullified due to an offensive pass interference penalty.

During practice, Dart had three passes batted down or tipped. Jameis Winston also experienced two tipped passes. The defensive front seven has reportedly focused on getting hands up to create opportunities for takeaways.

As practice concluded with a 10-minute back-and-forth period where the score was tied 17-17, the Giants' offense had five possessions. The second-team offense had three possessions, while the starters had two. These resulted in four punts, with punter Jordan Stout being called onto the field for one instance. Kicker Dominic Zvada closed practice with a 62-yard field goal. Winston led the scoring drive, completing a fourth-down pass, and offensive players encouraged coach John Harbaugh to allow Zvada to attempt the long field goal.

Several players were on the sidelines or did not practice due to injuries. Cornerback Paulson Adebo is listed as day-to-day, joining fellow cornerbacks Greg Newsome II and Dru Phillips, who are both sidelined with knee injuries. Wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Jalin Hyatt, center John Michael Schmitz Jr., and guard Lucas Patrick were also absent from practice. Wide receiver Malik Nabers reportedly lessened his workload during the session.
