Jax Taylor has confirmed he is "taken," according to a comment posted on his Instagram account Wednesday. The "Vanderpump Rules" star responded to a fan who suggested he might be a candidate for "The Bachelor" by stating, "No thanks I am taken," accompanied by a red heart emoji.
This public statement follows recent reports and photos that have linked Taylor romantically with Lori Krebs, the longtime publicist for his ex-partner, Brittany Cartwright. Photos obtained by TMZ on July 13 appeared to show Taylor and Krebs embracing at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. In the images, Taylor, shirtless, is seen with his arms around Krebs.
A source close to Cartwright told Page Six that she learned of the PDA photos shortly before they were published and felt "betrayed" by Krebs. The insider indicated that Cartwright had previously trusted Krebs when rumors of a romance between her and Taylor first surfaced two years ago, stating, "She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?"
Taylor and Krebs initially sparked romance rumors in February, after they each posted selfies on their Instagram Stories, including one where Krebs was seen kissing Taylor's cheek. At that time, both denied any romantic involvement.
Cartwright, who shares a son, Cruz, with Taylor, announced their separation in February 2024. She recently addressed the situation on her podcast, "When Reality Hits," stating, "All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready." She added that her current focus is on herself and their son.
