Jax Taylor has publicly accused his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, of attempting to "sabotage" his professional life in a since-deleted Instagram post. Taylor, known for his appearances on reality television, claimed Cartwright has been reaching out to companies and brands he is involved with, causing him to lose work opportunities.

In the social media post, Taylor shared a screenshot of a message Cartwright allegedly sent to Divergent Lifestyle Co., a brand supporting fathers of children with autism. According to Taylor, Cartwright inquired about his involvement with an event hosted by the company, stating, "I was wondering if you are sponsoring him or if he is officially involved in this event. If so, I’d like to share some information with you." She then asked for a donation link, saying, "I would actually like to help."

Taylor, whose son Cruz was diagnosed with autism in 2025, stated that he had shared the event for fathers of autistic children on his Instagram story to show support. He asserted that Cartwright's alleged actions are a pattern of behavior aimed at hindering his ability to work and move forward. "This is just another example of her contacting every company, brand or opportunity I get, trying to sabotage my ability to work and move forward with my life," Taylor wrote. He added that he has lost several jobs as a result and that the situation "honestly disgusts me."

Taylor explained that he had attempted to handle their issues privately for nearly a year without success. He emphasized his sobriety, stating he has been sober for 637 days, and his efforts to be a better person and father. "I’m just trying to work, support causes that mean a lot to me and just move forward with my life. I don’t understand why that can’t be allowed to happen," he wrote.

Taylor and Cartwright, who were married for four years, separated in January 2024, with Cartwright filing for divorce in August 2024. Taylor has previously spoken about his struggles with substance addiction. The former couple reached a custody agreement for their 5-year-old son, Cruz, in March. The agreement stipulates that each parent will be individually responsible for their son's care and expenses, rather than paying child support. Taylor was also granted custody on Wednesday nights and alternating weekends. Both parents agreed not to be under the influence of substances while with their son and not to introduce new partners until they have been dating for six months.

Taylor has since reportedly begun a relationship with his and Cartwright’s former publicist, Lori Krebs. Cartwright was last reported to be dating Brandon Hanson. A representative for Cartwright was not immediately available for comment.
