Jason Statham and Stephen Graham Reunite 26 Years After "Snatch"
The "Snatch" co-stars were seen together at the Burberry London Fashion Show, marking a reunion nearly three decades after their breakout roles.
Jason Statham and Stephen Graham, who rose to fame for their roles in Guy Ritchie's 2000 crime film "Snatch," recently reunited at the Burberry London Fashion Show. The event offered a glimpse of the actors, who played Turkish and Tommy respectively, together again approximately 26 years after the film's release.
In "Snatch," Graham portrayed Tommy, the junior partner to Statham's character, Turkish. The film, which also featured actors like Brad Pitt and Benicio del Toro, was a significant early role for Graham, marking his entry into the film industry. Following "Snatch," both actors embarked on successful careers. Graham went on to appear in "Gangs of New York," "This Is England," and television series such as "Peaky Blinders" and "Time." Statham became known for his roles in "The Transporter" film series, "The Italian Job," "The Meg," and "The Beekeeper."
Graham attended the Burberry show with his wife, Hannah Walters. The couple, who met as aspiring actors, have a long-standing professional and personal connection. Walters, who also appeared in "This Is England" and "Time" alongside her husband, has previously spoken about her career choices. She explained that she took a role as a teacher to provide financial stability for their family while Stephen pursued his acting career, a decision she characterized as a significant sacrifice to support his aspirations.
Walters met Graham in the 1990s while they were both students at the Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. They married in 2008 and have two children. The couple resides in Ibstock, Leicestershire.
