Jason Oppenheim Offers Support to Ex Chrishell Stause Amid G Flip Split

Jason Oppenheim, ex-boyfriend of "Selling Sunset" star Chrishell Stause, has publicly supported her following her recent split from musician G Flip. Stause announced the breakup via Instagram, sharing a video in which she expressed feeling "a little bit of a failure" concerning the end of their relationship.

Oppenheim responded in the comments section of Stause's post, writing, "I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love. You’re both beautiful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed."

He continued, "There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process. But please know that you’re very loved and I’m always there for you no matter what."

Stause, 45, and Oppenheim, 49, dated for approximately seven months in 2021 before splitting due to differing desires regarding starting a family. Despite their breakup, they have maintained a close friendship.

Stause later began a relationship with the non-binary Australian singer G Flip, whose real name is Georgia Flippo. The couple married in May 2023 in a private ceremony, later renewing their vows in Australia in July 2024 and having a medieval-themed wedding ceremony in Los Angeles in July 2025. Stause had also recently revealed her struggles with the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) process as they planned to start a family together.

In her breakup announcement, Stause stated that she and G Flip had agreed to handle their public separation with "love and respect for each other." She also expressed a desire to not go through such a public separation again, reflecting on her past marriage to "This Is Us" star Justin Hartley, which ended in 2021.
