Jason Kelce, former NFL player, expressed astonishment at the scarcity of leaked photographs from his brother Travis Kelce's recent wedding to Taylor Swift. Kelce shared his thoughts during an appearance on SportsRadio 94WIP.
"I haven’t seen any legitimate photos really from the wedding," Kelce stated on Thursday. "It’s remarkable."
Kelce described the July 3rd wedding, held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, as the largest he has ever attended. The event boasted an extensive guest list that included numerous celebrities and friends from the Kelce brothers' hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
He suggested that the absence of leaks was a deliberate effort by the couple to maintain the intimacy of the occasion. "I think, this is obviously an effort by Travis and Taylor to really try and make this as intimate of a moment as possible," Kelce said.
Kelce, a father of four, also acknowledged the intense public interest in the couple's activities and stated he respects the privacy of the newlyweds and Swift's family.
While largely keeping details of the ceremony private, Kelce did share that he shed more tears at his brother's wedding than he did at his own marriage in 2018 to Kylie Kelce. He humorously noted that Kylie might not be pleased to hear this.
Sports commentator Joe Buck corroborated the emotional nature of the event, revealing that Travis Kelce was visibly moved during the ceremony. Buck recounted on his "Rates & Barrels" podcast that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was emotional watching Swift walk down the aisle and also during the procession of his nieces, who served as flower girls. Buck confirmed that the couple's individual vows, each reportedly lasting 20 minutes, were "well written."
No official photographs from the wedding have been released. Joseph Kahn, who has directed several of Swift's music videos, previously commented on social media that any wedding pictures circulating online were fabricated, noting that AI would struggle to replicate such imagery accurately.
