Jamie O'Hara Takes Premature Daughter Home After Month in Neonatal Unit
Former footballer Jamie O'Hara and wife Keziah Grubb celebrate daughter Ophelia's discharge from Princess Royal University Hospital.
Former footballer Jamie O'Hara and his wife Keziah Grubb have brought their newborn daughter, Ophelia, home from the hospital after she spent a month in the neonatal unit. The couple announced the premature arrival of their baby girl on September 7.
O'Hara, who is already a father to three sons from his previous marriage to Danielle Lloyd, shared his joy on social media. "WE MADE IT!!!!! our beautiful baby girl is finally home, we couldn’t be happier..." he posted, expressing gratitude to the staff at Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) in Orpington.
Ophelia was born earlier than expected and weighed 3lb 13oz. She received specialized care in the neonatal unit for over a month. O'Hara, 39, referred to this period as a "fully in my girl dad era" and thanked the NHS staff for their dedication. He also shared an AI-generated image of Ophelia in a playfully chaotic nursery, captioning it "First night at home went well!!!! Ophelia just said welcome to my world Dad you just living in it newborn baby noises hit different lucky for me i have the best wife ever @keziah_ohara".
The couple had announced they were expecting their first child together in August. Grubb, 33, has the rare condition Uterus Didelphys, also known as a double uterus, which affects approximately 0.3 percent of women.
O'Hara and Grubb were married in April at St. Mary's Church in Horton Kirby, with a reception at The Moat Hotel in Wrotham. O'Hara had announced their engagement in March 2025, following a proposal during a holiday.
Jamie O'Hara and Danielle Lloyd divorced in 2014. Their split was contentious, involving public disputes over child custody. O'Hara also has two younger children with his current wife, Michael O'Neill.
