Jamie Laing Transforms into Lord Voldemort for Halloween

Jamie Laing has embraced the Halloween spirit by transforming into Harry Potter's iconic villain, Lord Voldemort. The former 'Made In Chelsea' star showcased his striking makeover, complete with prosthetics and a black cape, in a social media post that launched Halloween week activities in Los Angeles.

Laing, 37, shared the transformation with his followers, teasing a "wild" new episode of his podcast, 'Newly Parents,' with his wife Sophie Habboo. The video, set to a viral tech house remix of the Harry Potter chess scene, quickly garnered enthusiastic reactions from fans.

Commenters praised Laing's portrayal, with many calling it "brilliant and terrifying" and noting his uncanny resemblance to the fictional character. Some fans humorously remarked that he looked more like Voldemort than the character did in the films.

The social media clip referenced a pivotal scene from 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,' where Ron Weasley sacrifices himself in a giant wizard chess game.

Laing and Habboo, 32, are currently in Los Angeles for work, filming new episodes of their podcast, although their usual base is London. This trip follows a recent incident where Laing was mistaken for a character from the American teen drama 'One Tree Hill' by US audiences while attending 'Dancing With The Stars.' He was photographed looking alarmed during the show and was subsequently identified by viewers as 'Derek,' a character known for stalking Peyton Sawyer.

Laing shared a comparison photo on Instagram of himself and Matt Barr, the actor who played Derek, humorously captioning it: "Not the US audience thinking I was Peyton Sawyer's Stalker from One Tree Hill... Apparently his name is Derek."

Fans reacted with amusement to the mistaken identity. Laing has previously spoken about the challenges of fatherhood, describing himself as being "in the trenches" since welcoming his son, Ziggy, and reflecting on how fatherhood has impacted his life and business ventures.
