Jamie Foxx on Welcoming Third Child at 58: 'Still Got It'

Jamie Foxx, 58, revealed he is expecting his third child, his first with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp, 31. The actor made the announcement during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this week, quipping that he "still got it."

Foxx, who is already a father to daughters Corinne, 32, and Anelise, 18, shared his perspective on becoming a parent again at his age. "I got a baby on the way… still got it!" he told host Jimmy Kimmel. He added a lighthearted note about re-entering the "drop-off line" and joked, "If I’m 58, in 12 years I’ll be 70… you’ll just put a blanket over my thighs, give me some tapioca pudding…"

He also referenced actor Al Pacino, who welcomed his fourth child, Roman, with Noor Alfallah in 2023 at the age of 83. "I did run into Al Pacino, so if I was ever on the fence, I wasn’t on the fence when I talked to him," Foxx shared.

Foxx began dating Huckstepp, an Australian former fitness model, in 2022. They reportedly experienced a brief split in January 2025 before reconciling.

Last year, Foxx discussed a serious health scare in his 2024 Netflix special, "What Happened Was…," revealing he suffered a stroke from a brain bleed in 2023, which caused him to lose his memory for 20 days. He described his youngest daughter, Anelise, as his "spiritual defibrillator," recalling how her presence with her guitar in his hospital room inexplicably lowered his vital signs when medical interventions were failing.

"They said at one point, the first 15 days, they thought they were going to lose me because my vitals were out of control," Foxx recounted. "There was a 13 or 14-day period where they said, 'We've gotta keep him calm and we've given him every medication that they could. It's not working, we gotta keep him calm because his vitals are so high we're going to lose him."

He explained that Anelise snuck into his room and began playing her guitar, which led to a stabilization of his vitals. "The nurses at the nurses' station were baffled," he said. "Like, 'Wow what did they give him?' They rushed into the room and [my daughter] said, 'Shh. I got him.'"

"Do you know what I found out? That God was in that guitar. That's my spiritual defibrillator," Foxx stated, expressing gratitude to his daughter for her role in his recovery. "Thank you for stepping up when all was lost."
