Jamie Foxx on Expecting Third Child at 58: 'Still Got It'
The actor shared his lighthearted take on becoming a father again in his late 50s during an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live.'
Jamie Foxx humorously acknowledged he is "still got it" as he prepares to welcome his third child at the age of 58. The Academy Award winner shared his thoughts during a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
"I got a baby on the way… still got it!" Foxx announced, joking with host Jimmy Kimmel about being "about to be back in the drop-off line." He added with a chuckle, "I wasn’t on the fence about it, but being 58… you know what I’m saying?"
Foxx also recounted a conversation with Al Pacino, who welcomed a child at 83. "I said, ‘Al, how old are you?’ He said, ‘84.’ I said, ‘Man, you’re gonna be 84 years old back in the drop-off line,’" Foxx recalled. He shared Pacino’s response: “’84 years old, back in the drop-off line, every time I get out, they pull me back in.’”
The "Ray" star is expecting his third child with his girlfriend, 31-year-old Alyce Huckstepp. Foxx playfully told Kimmel that he has advised Huckstepp to "hang in there for 12 years," projecting that he would be 70 by the time the child is an adult, joking about needing a blanket over his thighs and some tapioca pudding.
Page Six reported in May that Huckstepp was several months pregnant. The couple reportedly experienced a brief split in January 2025 after three years together, but reconciled several months later. They were first linked in May 2022 and confirmed their relationship publicly later that year.
Huckstepp was reportedly a supportive presence for Foxx during his health scare in 2023, which involved a brain bleed that led to a stroke. A source told People in April 2024 that Huckstepp had been a "great" and "loyal" companion to the actor during his recovery.
Foxx is also the father of two daughters: Corinne Foxx, 32, from a previous relationship, and Annalise Bishop, 17.
