James Carville Warns Democrats Against Impeaching Trump

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville has warned that impeaching former President Donald Trump, should Democrats win control of Congress in the upcoming midterm elections, would be an exercise in futility.

Carville stated on Fox News that the Supreme Court currently shields Trump from facing the full legal consequences of his actions. He argued that any impeachment effort would likely be unsuccessful and ultimately serve no constructive purpose.

Similarly, political commentator Al Hunt echoed Carville's sentiment, characterizing impeachment as a "waste of energy" that is unlikely to yield a meaningful outcome. Both strategists appear to believe that the political and judicial landscape makes impeachment an improbable and potentially counterproductive path for Democrats.
