Jameis Winston Leads Giants to NFC East Lead
Quarterback's arrival has coincided with a 2-0-1 stretch and a first-place standing in the division.
Jameis Winston has taken the reins for the New York Giants following an injury to starting quarterback Jaxson Dart, leading the team to a 2-0-1 record and the top spot in the NFC East. Winston has played in over three games since Dart was lost for the season in Week 2.
The "Jameis Winston Experience," as it's been described, is characterized by a quarterback who is a fearless gunslinger with a short memory. He is known for alternating between spectacular and perplexing plays, a trait that has led to both 121 touchdown passes and 88 interceptions over his career.
For the Giants, the sample size of Winston's performance has been limited to these recent games. His presence has been pivotal in securing a division lead as the team prepares to face the Saints. The "Jameis Winston Experience" has, thus far, meant a significant positive shift in the Giants' immediate fortunes.
