Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Liv Kelly Reportedly Split for Second Time Amidst AFL Contract Talks

Gold Coast Suns player Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and fitness influencer Liv Kelly have reportedly separated for a second time, less than a year after reconciling. According to a source speaking to the Herald Sun, Kelly has moved out of their Gold Coast residence and both individuals have removed photos of each other from their social media profiles.

Speculation among fans about the couple's relationship status began after they appeared to unfollow each other on Instagram. Kelly, who was previously linked to Reece Hawkins, has also indicated in recent posts that she has relocated.

The couple, who first dated for approximately 18 months, moved in together in 2022 following Ugle-Hagan's public breakup with Mia Fevola. They rekindled their relationship in December of the previous year, sharing a photo together on Instagram.

This reported split occurs as Ugle-Hagan focuses on securing another season with the Suns. The former No. 1 draft pick has been sharing updates from his training in Melbourne. Gold Coast is reportedly preparing to offer him a one-year contract.

Ugle-Hagan joined the Suns from the Western Bulldogs at the end of the previous year, managing three senior appearances in 2026. He showed promise in the reserves, kicking 26 goals in 11 VFL games, but his season was hampered by an ankle injury sustained in May.

Discussions about a new contract were underway in September, with the Suns expressing a desire for the forward to improve his mobility. Reports indicated that Ugle-Hagan was on board with the team's suggestion for him to lose four to five kilograms. His management has noted a significant improvement in his well-being since his departure from the Bulldogs.

Ugle-Hagan's move to the Gold Coast followed a period away from football to address personal and well-being issues. He returned to senior AFL action in April, ending a nearly 600-day absence from the top-tier game. At the time, he emphasized the importance of seeking support, stating that asking for help is a sign of strength. He later revealed that the AFL had directed him to attend rehabilitation in Byron Bay as a condition for his return to playing.

During his four weeks in the program, Ugle-Hagan admitted initial difficulty in accepting the need for help but expressed gratitude for its transformative impact. He found that withdrawing from others had worsened his struggles, and leaning on people proved beneficial. Gold Coast coach Damien Hardwick played a supportive role, reportedly inviting Ugle-Hagan to stay at his home for several weeks to aid his transition. By May, Ugle-Hagan was attending regular psychology sessions, journaling, and preparing to enroll in a youth work course. Kelly, known for her fitness content and healthy lifestyle posts, was also noted at the time for assisting him with establishing better routines for his lifestyle and recovery.
