Influencer and boxer Jake Paul has stated that multiple NFL teams have expressed interest in signing him, suggesting he could easily transition to professional football. Paul, who is currently recovering from a broken jaw sustained in his bout with Anthony Joshua, shared his belief that he could outperform current players in the league.

In an interview with Front Office Sports, Paul claimed, "I have a couple of teams and coaches that I've already talked to that are interested in bringing me onto the team." He further asserted that there is significant "mediocrity" within the NFL and that the league "has not good athletes."

Paul envisions himself playing as a wide receiver and believes his physical attributes and work ethic would translate well to the sport. "I have better hands than them, I'm faster than them, I'm stronger than them, I work harder than them," Paul said, adding, "Really, all it's going to take is me, after boxing, practicing some routes."

If a move to the NFL were to materialize, Paul expressed a desire to play for his hometown team, the Cleveland Browns. "I've been a Browns fan my whole entire life. My mom is a die-hard Browns fan, and I think they could use some good receivers over there," he stated.

Paul's last organized football experience was at Westlake High School. His professional boxing career includes a record of 12 wins and 2 losses, with victories over former MMA fighters Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley. His two defeats came against Tommy Fury and Anthony Joshua.
